Meet the District Conference Committee for 2024
Message from District Governor, Brian Glasgow:
Dear Rotarians, partners-in-service, and friends of Rotary District 7030,
I am thrilled that, for the first time in our District’s history, the annual District Conference will be hosted in the beautiful setting of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This event holds great significance for us, and it provides an opportunity for our entire Rotary family to come together and celebrate the spirit of service, diversity, and fellowship that defines us.
Our District is known for its incredible diversity, and I am certain that this year’s conference will be a true reflection of the unity that comes from embracing our differences. Under the theme “Sharing Hope With the World,” we aim to showcase the collective impact we can make when we collaborate for positive change. I eagerly await the chance to welcome Rotarians, partners-in-service, and friends from all corners of our district, as we join hands to inspire, learn, and plan for a brighter future together.
Beyond being a traditional conference, District Conference 2024 promises to be a transformative experience. Our dedicated team has curated an immersive cultural and historical journey that will allow you to discover the gems of the Antilles. From the enchanting La Soufriere mountains to the breathtaking shores connecting our numerous islands and cays, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories and connections that will extend far beyond the event itself.

Chers Rotariens, conjoints et amis du District 7030,
Je suis ravi que, pour la première fois dans l’histoire de notre District, la Conférence annuelle de District se tienne dans le cadre magnifique de Saint-Vincent-et-les-Grenadines. Cet événement revêt une grande importance pour nous et donne l’occasion à toute la famille rotarienne de se réunir et de célébrer l’esprit de service, de diversité et de camaraderie qui nous caractérise.
Notre District est connu pour son incroyable diversité, et je suis certain que la conférence de cette année sera un véritable reflet de l’unité qui naît de l’acceptation de nos différences. Sous le thème “Partager l’Espoir Avec le Monde”, nous visons à montrer l’impact collectif que nous pouvons avoir lorsque nous collaborons pour un changement positif. J’attends avec impatience l’occasion d’accueillir des Rotariens, des conjoints et des amis de tous les coins de notre district, alors que nous nous donnons la main pour inspirer, apprendre et planifier ensemble un avenir meilleur.
Au-delà d’une conférence traditionnelle, la Conférence de District 2024 promet d’être une expérience riche en transformations. Notre équipe dévouée a conçu un voyage culturel et historique immersif qui vous permettra de découvrir les joyaux des Antilles. Des montagnes enchanteresses de La Soufrière aux rivages époustouflants reliant nos nombreuses îles et cayes, vous aurez l’occasion de créer des souvenirs et des liens durables qui se prolongeront bien au-delà de l’événement lui-même.
Au nom de notre estimée Commission Conférence, je vous invite chaleureusement à vous inscrire à la Conférence 2024 du District 7030 du Rotary. Votre participation contribuera non seulement au succès de l’événement mais nous permettra également de renforcer les liens qui nous unissent en tant que famille rotarienne. Gouverneur de District – District 7030 du Rotary
Shafia T.T London is a multifaceted, passionate and results driven Rotarian. She first prides herself on being a mother to two sons, a wife and a loyal friend. She is currently employed with the Global company ABI and serves as Country Head, St. Vincent Brewery Ltd and Dominica Brewery and Beverages Ltd; and Commercial Manager, Banks Holdings Limited Group of Companies, Barbados.
Despite her active career and academic pursuits, she finds time to give back to the community through Rotary. She has been a Rotarian for over 10 years. She was appointed the first female President in the Rotary club of St. Vincent after 4 decades of existence, and later served as Assistant Governor in the Rotary’s Southern Caribbean region for two (2) consecutive years. In this capacity, she was actively involved in the unified project implementation of numerous projects notably those related to volcano relief in SVG.
Shafia is now the Chairperson of the District 7030 Conference 2024 to be held for the first time in SVG under the headship of Brian Glasgow, District Governor. Shafia is honored and eager to utilize her notable project management skills and leadership acumen in executing an exceptional conference in SVG in conjunction with a team of competent Rotarians.
Shafia T.T London est une Rotarienne aux multiples facettes, passionnée et axée sur les résultats. Elle est d’abord fière d’être la mère de deux fils, une épouse et une amie fidèle. Elle est actuellement employée par la société internationale ABI et occupe les postes de Directrice Nationale de St. Vincent Brewery Ltd et Dominica Brewery and Beverages Ltd, et de Directrice Commerciale du Groupe de sociétés Banks Holdings Limited, à la Barbade.
Malgré sa carrière active et ses études, elle trouve le temps de s’impliquer dans la communauté par l’intermédiaire du Rotary. Elle est Rotarienne depuis plus de 10 ans. Elle a été nommée première femme Présidente du Rotary Club de Saint-Vincent après quatre décennies d’existence, et a ensuite occupé le poste d’Assistante du Gouverneur dans la région Sud des Caraïbes du Rotary pendant deux années consécutives. À ce titre, elle a participé activement à la mise en œuvre unifiée de nombreux projets, notamment ceux liés à l’aide aux victimes du volcan à SVG.
Shafia est désormais la Présidente 2024 du Comité Conférence de District 7030 qui se tiendra pour la première fois à SVG sous la direction de Brian Glasgow, Gouverneur de District. Shafia est honorée et impatiente de mettre à profit ses compétences en gestion de projet et son sens du leadership pour organiser une conférence exceptionnelle à SVG, en collaboration avec une équipe de Rotariens compétents.
Ms. Mikasha Ramsaran, a Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor by profession, has been a Rotarian for over 8 years and is currently the President of the Rotary CLub of St. Vincent. During this Rotary Year, she also holds the post of Secretary of the District Conference Committee; and the Project Fair Co-ordinator which falls under the District International Services Committee.
Mme Mikasha Ramsaran, avocate de profession, est rotarienne depuis plus de 8 ans et est actuellement Présidente du Rotary Club de Saint-Vincent. Au cours de cette année rotarienne, elle occupe également le poste de secrétaire du Comité Conférence de District et de Coordinatrice de la Foire aux Projets, qui relève du Comité Action internationale du District.
