Michael Terrelonge has substantial experience in large organizations in the private and the public sector, involving the alignment of IT initiatives to satisfy business strategies, and in the management of complex and large scale information technology systems. He has been involved in some of the major modernisation initiatives under the Government of Jamaica’s PSMP. This includes work as ICT advisor on the Ministry of National Security, Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) and Jamaica Customs Modernisation Programmes, advising on ICT policies, governance, strategic planning, aligning business systems with business objectives, capacity building for staff and selection of ICT systems and facilities. He has also has led ICT work streams in the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Registrar General’s Office and the Firearms Licensing Authority. He has particular expertise in helping executive agencies and departments set up new ICT functions.
Michael has substantial experiences in enterprise IT systems, large relational database systems, ERPs of various shapes and flavour, business intelligence, mathematical modelling and analytical tools, He has had decades of experience in warehouse and inventory management systems and also in leading teams to provide customise software and technology solutions to these management practices.
Michael is an active Rotarian, trainer and member of the district leadership team in the Caribbean. He also sits on the board of the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG).
